There is no way forward without hope.

Perfect in November (when I didn't see it)and today, also. Both times you nudge us to think ahead to the soft ray of light on this very cold day in Virginia and all over the world. My intention is to focus on each small or otherwise ray of light available to us throughout each of our days, weeks, and months ahead. Your insights touch that part of me that knows truth.

Like this the first time I read it, and I like it just as much today. Thanks, David.

My only thoughts about today are I’m glad I’m not an American and worry about living next door. Will this be the winter of our discontent? Hmmm…

Yes, brother. This is a choice and I embrace the power of my choice as to how I will view this and in turn will allow me to work most effectively with it, meaning my living and this is my humble serving on this planet. I haven't always planted a garden every year, but I am a gardner of sorts in many ways year after year. I revel when I do get tend a garden, get my hands dirty, and observe the magic of seeds sprouting, growing, and transforming through the season, into the harvest I will be I will be gifted to gather. Even when I haven't tilled and sowed a garden plot, I get the itch every winter dreaming about spring. Some years ago, I realized that in my winter dreaming were all the seeds I was already busy "seeding", incubating, and sprouting. After all these seasons, I am stronger to weather all the changes and know all of it makes me ready. I am and take peace in what I seed, grow, harvest for all. Thank you for sharing your beautiful insights and wisdom dar borther. I am with you and so many others as we calmly breathe, administer, and embrace all that lies in the fertile soil at this moment, knowing I am in those seeds, too. Blessings.
