Such tender descriptions - especially appreciate "trees like skeletons" and "the moon a delicate sliver, a white crescent eyebrow ..." I agree with all that you say here (as usual!) and yes, isn't Oscar Wilde almost always right, ha? Thanks for this very timely essay as we enjoy blowing winds and two feet of snow here in my Canadian back garden!
